Last weekend was truly special, and we’re delighted to share that the donation raised during the event at The Lord Reresby has now been made to Start-A-Heart 24:7. A huge thank you to everyone who came together to make the evening such a success – from the incredible team at The Lord Reresby, to every guest who contributed to this life-saving cause.
It was a pleasure for our team – Trish, Roger and Carrie – to catch up with everyone over a cuppa and a good chat. A heartfelt thank you also goes to Heather for the beautiful flowers – such a thoughtful gesture!
The team at The Lord Reresby have expressed a genuine interest in staying involved with Start-A-Heart 24:7, and we’re excited to work with them on their plans for the future. Their ongoing support means the world to us and to the communities we serve.
We’re especially grateful that they’ve chosen to keep a Start-A-Heart donations tub on the bar. All contributions collected in these will be saved to help cover the cost of replacing defibrillator pads and batteries – essential maintenance that ensures our devices remain ready to save lives. These parts need replacing every couple of years, and small donations like these go a long way towards keeping the equipment in working order.
None of this would be possible without the continued kindness and generosity of the local community. The Lord Reresby team truly went above and beyond – pulling off an incredible night with heart, passion and community spirit. ❤️
