As many of you now know about the incident on Saturday and the gentleman involved, I just want to share my gratitude to the customers over the weekend and also how grateful we are to have this defibrillator on site.
It’s something that we hope to never have to use but to have it is a blessing that we truly are thankful for, and the importance of it this weekend, was evidential.
Just want to thank the guys at Start a Heart 24:7 for providing the machine and also the call I’ve had from them since to show their support is really appreciated.
Two gents that deserve a special mention are definitely Kev Buckley and Adam Podmore, those guys kept calm and did everything right to the absolute praise of all the medical team 👏
Special thanks to all the ambulance crew, paramedics, specialists that came so quickly and worked fantastically.
Saturday was an eye opener for us all and something that will keep with me for a long time but the rapid thinking and teamwork from everyone was definitely something to be proud of in this pub.
We wish the family all the love and support from everyone here and fingers crossed for the recovery stages.
